1. Service description

RefundHelper is a document preparation service that helps consumers create professional chargeback dispute letters. We provide tools to organize your dispute information and generate bank-ready documents.

Important: RefundHelper is NOT a law firm and does NOT provide legal advice. The documents we generate are templates based on the information you provide.

2. Who operates RefundHelper

The RefundHelper website and related services are operated by RAWAI CAPITAL PTY LTD (ABN 92 683 285 421, ACN 683 285 421), an Australian private company with a public main business location of VIC 3051, Australia (per the Australian Business Register). Public record: ABN Lookup.

3. What happens with your data

When you use RefundHelper, you may provide and we may process information such as:

• Account and contact details (for example your email address)
• Transaction details you enter or upload (merchant, amount, date)
• Dispute-related narrative and selections you provide in the product flow
• Evidence files you upload (for example receipts, screenshots, correspondence)
• Technical data needed to operate the service (for example authentication session data)

We use this information to:

• Generate and display dispute-related documents and templates for you
• Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service (including fraud and abuse prevention)
• Provide customer support when you contact us
• Maintain your account and deliver service-related communications
• Improve reliability and product quality (including in aggregated or de-identified form where applicable)

Your information is stored and processed using infrastructure we control or configure (for example database and authentication services). We use Supabase for core application data storage and authentication; Supabase processes data according to its role as a processor/sub-processor under our configuration and your use of the service.

Generated outputs are based on your inputs. You must review outputs before you rely on them or submit them to third parties (such as your bank). We do not guarantee any outcome from a dispute.

4. User responsibilities

By using RefundHelper, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your transactions and disputes
• Only submit disputes for legitimate reasons as permitted by your card issuer
• Not use the service for fraudulent chargebacks or false claims
• Review all generated documents before submission to your bank

5. No guarantee of outcome

RefundHelper cannot guarantee the outcome of any chargeback dispute. The decision to approve or deny a chargeback rests solely with your financial institution. We provide document preparation assistance only.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use RefundHelper to:

• Submit false or fraudulent disputes
• Engage in "friendly fraud" or abuse the chargeback process
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Harm or defraud merchants through illegitimate claims

7. Limitation of liability

RefundHelper and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service.

8. Intellectual property

All content, templates, and materials provided through RefundHelper are the property of RefundHelper or its licensors. You are granted a limited license to use generated documents for your personal dispute purposes only.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to RefundHelper if we believe you have violated these terms or are using the service for fraudulent purposes.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
